Come and join us for Barak on October 26th @ 6PM. it'll be a time of experiential and interactive worship. Come to Christ UMC (map) in Louisville, Ohio and join other youth as we worship our creator and seek to find God in the journey of life.

Fun by one and all

we had a wonderful Senior High retreat this year - despite the fact that a blizzard snowed us out of our original date. the rescheduled "Spring Jam" was super sweet! Thanks to all who attended.

We look forward to a great Junior High and Senior High retreat in 2009! and don't forget about BARAK in October, too!

God bless,

The Winter Jam Team

Winter Jam

WHAT IS WINTER JAM?
In 1982, a few youth directors and pastors from north east Ohio got together to brainstorm for a way to bring area youth together, to connect with each other and with God. They were looking to create an opportunity for youth to have an encounter with Jesus. As a result, the Winter Jam Retreat began. During the 80's periodic Winter Jam Retreats were held. Then, in 1992 some of those same pastors got their youth groups together at Camp Wanake for what would become the first annual Winter Jam Retreat.

Now, 15 years later, Winter Jam is still hosting separate retreats for both Junior High and Senior High youth - providing young people with sound Biblical teaching and a fun atmosphere for spiritual growth.
